My last time on stage was in The Recommendation at Windy City Playhouse (Chicago, IL) written by Jonathan Caren. For this role I was awarded both the Equity Jeff Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Play and the Black Theatre Alliance Ossie Davis Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play. I’m grateful to say that the theatre is where I learned how to do what it is that I do. Does that legitimize me as a thespian?

I’ve been fortunate to have been cast in projects for Starz, FOX, Netflix, NBC, HBO, Lionsgate, Disney and Discovery Network alongside names such as: Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Jonathan Majors, Courtney B. Vance, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Robert Wisdom, Eamonn Walker, Carl Weathers and more. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you can see me playing the role of Carver in Joshua Safran’s Limited Series SOUNDTRACK on NETFLIX and the charismatic band leader on HBO’s hit series LOVECRAFT COUNTRY.
